This Privacy Policy applies to the Pick Arena mobile application, related support channels, and any webpage that links to this policy (collectively, the “Service”). TAIGA PTE. LTD. (“TAIGA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for the processing described here. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices in this policy. Our Terms of Use also apply.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Service and eligibility information: an internal pseudonymous user, device, or installation identifier; age or eligibility confirmation; consent choices; and app settings. Pick Arena does not require you to register an app account, create a password, or sign in.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and other information you send when you contact us.
- Redemption information: the selected redemption channel, the destination detail required by that channel (for example, a PayPal email or registered mobile number), and related redemption records. These details are collected only when you choose to redeem.
- User choices: Picks, claims, redemption requests, consent choices, and settings you submit through the Service.
Information collected automatically
- Device and app information: device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, push notification token, and identifiers used for app operation, security, fraud prevention, or advertising as permitted by law and platform settings.
- Usage information: screens viewed, buttons used, challenge participation, Pick and reward events, session timing, and feature interactions.
- Advertising information: ad requests, impressions, completion or validation events, attribution information, and advertising revenue signals.
- Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, network status, error reports, and security events.
- Approximate location: a general region inferred from signals such as IP address, App Store storefront, time zone, device settings, or proxy indicators. We do not collect precise GPS location by default.
Information from other parties
We may receive event and result data from sports or esports data providers; advertising and attribution information from ad partners; fraud, security, and device-risk signals from service providers; and redemption status from the provider you select.
Pick Arena does not require payment-card information for free Picks. We do not request government identification, facial scans, or other identity-verification data unless a future feature, redemption provider, or legal requirement makes that information necessary and we provide appropriate notice first.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and maintain the device- or installation-based service profile used to associate Picks, rewards, Champ Coin, eligibility, and settings with your use of the Service;
- provide free prediction challenges, record Picks, validate participation, calculate results, and display Pick distribution;
- administer Champ Coin balances, claims, rewards, redemptions, and transaction history;
- deliver notifications and service messages according to your settings;
- serve, measure, and validate advertising, including an ad impression that may be used to confirm a free entry;
- detect fraud, automation, abuse, duplicate or manipulated service profiles, prohibited conduct, and threats to the Service;
- troubleshoot, analyze, personalize, and improve the Service;
- respond to support requests and communicate changes; and
- comply with law, enforce our terms and Official Rules, and protect users, TAIGA, and others.
3. Advertising, Tracking, and App Tracking Transparency
Pick Arena may show advertising. Where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework or applicable law requires permission, we request that permission before accessing the device advertising identifier or tracking your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies. You may decline this request and still use the Service’s core free-to-play features.
If you allow tracking, advertising and attribution partners may use permitted identifiers and event information to measure campaigns or provide more relevant advertising. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. We do not use device fingerprinting to bypass your choice.
4. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients, only for legitimate service purposes:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, customer support, security, and fraud-prevention vendors.
- Advertising and attribution partners: to deliver, validate, and measure ads, subject to your permissions and applicable law.
- Event-data providers: when needed to match, verify, or resolve challenge and result data.
- Redemption providers: to process a redemption using the channel and destination details you select.
- Authorities and protected parties: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate abuse, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Corporate transaction participants: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain interest-based advertising disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” Where those laws apply, you may exercise the relevant choice as described below.
5. Retention and Deletion
| Information | Typical retention approach |
|---|---|
| Service identifier, eligibility choices, and settings | While the related installation or service profile is active and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve requests, prevent fraud, maintain service continuity, and meet legal obligations. |
| Picks, rewards, Champ Coin, and redemption records | As needed to operate balances and history, resolve claims, maintain security and audit records, and satisfy legal or accounting requirements. |
| Advertising, analytics, and diagnostics | Only as long as reasonably necessary for measurement, security, troubleshooting, improvement, and contractual or legal obligations. |
| Support communications | Until the request is resolved and for a reasonable period to maintain service and dispute records. |
Retention periods may vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the purpose for which it was collected, legal requirements, fraud risk, and whether the information can be safely aggregated or de-identified.
Pick Arena does not provide or require a registered app account. Deleting the app stops collection through that installation, but it may not automatically delete information already stored with the internal service identifier. You may contact us using the email below to request deletion of personal information associated with your installation or service identifier. We may retain limited information when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, reward and redemption records, disputes, and enforcement.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, portability of, or restriction of personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.
- Data access and deletion: email us with your request and, where available, include the service or installation identifier shown in the app so we can locate the relevant records.
- Tracking: manage permission in iOS Settings.
- Notifications: manage push permissions in iOS Settings and in-app preferences where available.
- Marketing: use the unsubscribe method in a marketing message or contact us.
We may need to verify your request and may retain a record of the request. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits and valid authorization is provided. These rights are subject to lawful exceptions.
7. Age and Eligibility
Pick Arena is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and who satisfy any higher minimum age or eligibility requirement in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
8. International Data Transfers
TAIGA and its service providers may process information in Singapore and other countries that may have different data-protection laws from your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, and apply the protections described in this policy.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect access to your device and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity involving your Pick Arena data or redemption destination.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including advertising and redemption providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information directly to them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service, law, or our practices. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Your continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies to future use, subject to any consent required by law.
